Me

Hello there! My name is Hailey Skolmoski and I am an 18-year-old student athlete at the University of Utah. I am a freshman on the soccer team and I am double majoring in Elementary Education and Human Development and Family Studies. I love all things sports and I love working with kids. I'm currently recovering from ACL surgery that I had this past October, so I am just starting to get back into the swing of things when it comes to soccer. 

Family

My family is the greatest! I am the oldest of four girls. Kami is 16 and is one of the most talented artists and singers I know. Emilee is 13 and lives life in fast-forward but is the sunshine in our house. Abby is 9 and is the most loving person I know. Both Emilee and Abby are starting to get into soccer now. I love my parents, they are the greatest examples to me. I would not be where I am without their love and support.

Us

Since the whole reason I started this blog was because of this crazy kid named Mikel, I guess I should talk about us a little bit. :)

Mikel and I met our sophomore year of high school, but we didn't talk much until Junior year when he was dating one of my friends on the soccer team. We became best friends while they were dating and I had the biggest crush on him for a few months until he asked me to go to the boy's pref dance with him. Of course, I said yes, and from then on we've been inseparable. This month actually marks 2 years of dating for us and it's been quite the ride! It was hard to see him go, but I have a feeling that this is more than just a high school relationship. He is serving in the South Africa, Durban mission until June 2017 while I am going to school and playing college soccer. I'm thankful for this time that we get to spend apart to learn and grow as individuals in order to strengthen each other. I can't wait to see what the future holds for us!
